NANCY
Nancy, a riverside city located in the Grand Est region, in the north-east of France, of about 110,000 inhabitants.
It has many buildings classified as historic monuments and it is one of the European centers of Art Nouveau thanks to the School of Nancy .
Its emblematic place is Place Stanislas, named after the last Duke of Lorraine , which is part of an 18th century complex listed as World Heritage by UNESCO . This immense square, decorated with gilded wrought iron grids and rococo fountains, is located in the middle of the superb palaces and churches which abound in the medieval old town of Nancy.
